We're located in Wilkesboro, NC, just off of Highway 421 South. If traveling North (physically West) on 421, you'll have to make a U-turn past our location and head back in an Eastward direction to our shop.

  • We're located in Wilkesboro, NC, the home of MerleFest – one of America's largest bluegrass festivals.  
  • W. Kerr Scott Lake/Reservoir is the home to excellent fishing, mountain biking and boating. It just happens to be in our back yard. There are many, many camping opportunities at "the dam".
  • Looking for a new disc golf course to play? Wilkes County is now "on the map" and offers 18 holes of FREE disc golf fun at the Highland Hills Disc Golf Course – OPENING JULY 10, 2010.
  • The North Wilkesboro Speedway holds a place in history for being one of the first tracks of NASCAR. It is now being revitalized and races are being scheduled there. Driving schools and other fun opportunties are available as well.
  • Chickenfest is another music festival held locally – in North Wilkesboro. It is put on by The Record of Wilkes (newspaper) and sponsored by Tyson.
  • Singing in the Foothills (a Christian music festival) is held annually in Wilkesboro at the Wilkesboro Dragway in support of the Ebenezer Children's Home in North Wilkesboro, NC.
  • Stone Mountain is located here in Wilkes; Traphill, NC. Stone Mountain offers great trout waters, hiking, wildlife, camping and fun for the entire family without the worries of city life.
  • We're just a short drive from Boone, Jefferson, Sparta, Taylorsville, Lenoir, Hickory, Elkin, Winston-Salem, Yadkinville, Statesville and Mt. Airy, NC.
  • Flying in? The Wilkes County Airport is located in North Wilkesboro and is great for privately owned small aircraft and is the home of MX Aircraft – a global manufacturer of MX2 and MXS line of Sport, Aerobatic and Race aircraft.
